The Association of Golf Clubfitting Professionals promotes the highest caliber of club fitting and club making skills in today’s golf world. With worldwide membership ranging from the United States of America to the far reaches in Korea, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and beyond, you can now throw a dart at a world map and most likely hit a region where there is an AGCP Club Fitter. The organization has become pinnacle in the advancement of today’s golf world.
That being said, we would like to honor those who have made life time commitments to the AGCP. These members are craftsmen that are at the top of their class and have made the decision to invest in the AGCP all that they can.
With Lifetime Members to the caliber of Irl Robinson, member of the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame, and a Qualified & Certified Level 10 AGCP Plus Retail Member, the Lifetime Members are certainly in a league of their own.
Many of the Lifetime Members are Masters of Golf Club Technology. Keith Chatham, Jerry Hoefling, Rich Hurley, Bill Kelly, Jerry Lovell, Bob Uebelhor, and Dana Upshaw were officially inducted as the Charter Group of Masters in the AGCP on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the 4th Annual Roundtable Seminar in Columbus, GA.
Rounding out the Lifetime Members is Branson, Missouri’s Hoot Gibson. A Qualified & Certified Level 10 AGCP Plus Retail Member, Hoot Gibson’s shop was the home of the First Annual Roundtable. Through snow storms and travel troubles, Hoot gave the several AGCP members a place to call home for a few days.
These few members are helping to pave the way for other members to become part of the long haul. Without their devotion to the AGCP Organization, the AGCP would not be what it is today. They have seen what the AGCP does for the business and industry of club fitting and club making and they have shown their loyalty and devotion.
This web page is in homage to them. Thank you all, and we are sure that more will be added to this list in the future.
